Finbuddy ("we," "our," or "the app") is a personal budgeting app built to help you track your spending. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
All your financial data — including transactions, budgets, and categories — is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal financial data on any external server.
The Magic Capture feature uses iOS Shortcuts to process screenshots of receipts or bank notifications. Image processing is performed on your device. Screenshots used for transaction capture are not uploaded to any external server.
We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage analytics (such as app launch counts or feature usage) through Apple's built-in analytics framework to help improve the app experience. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
Finbuddy does not integrate with third-party advertising networks or data brokers. If we introduce any third-party service in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
Since all data is stored on your device, you can delete all your data at any time by uninstalling the app. No additional request is needed.
Finbuddy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
